Upeksha Swarnamalini is a well-known actress and politician from Sri Lanka. She was born on June 26, 1984 in Kuwait, but grew up in Sri Lanka. Many people call her “Paba” because of her famous role in the television drama Paba, which was loved by children and adults alike. Her acting made her very popular, and she became a star in Sri Lankan cinema and television. Later, she also entered politics and served as a Member of Parliament for the Gampaha District from 2010 to 2015. This shows that she is not only talented in acting but also wanted to help people through public service. Upeksha studied fine arts and worked hard to achieve her dreams. She is admired for her courage, her smile, and her ability to inspire young people.  Gamini Fonseka Gamini Fonseka was born on 21 March 1936 in Dehiwala, Sri Lanka . He loved acting and became one of the greatest stars in Sinhala cinema during the 1960s and 1970s. Many people called him the “King of Sinhala Cinema” because of his powerful acting and the many awards he won. He acted in famous films that made audiences laugh, cry, and think deeply. Later in life, Gamini also worked for the people of Sri Lanka as a politician. He was a Member of Parliament and even became the Governor of the North Eastern Province . This shows that he was not only a talented actor but also someone who wanted to help his country. Gamini Fonseka passed away on 30 September 2004 , but his movies and his service to Sri Lanka continue to inspire children and adults today.
